Mews House Renovation in the Nightingale Triangle, London
Case Study
Transforming a Dark and Uninspiring Mews into a Light and Modern Home
In collaboration with a trusted interior designer, our team transformed a tired and dated mews property in the heart of the Nightingale Triangle into a high-spec, modern, and highly desirable home.
The original property felt dark, cramped, and lacked the natural light needed to make the most of the available space.
Our goal was to create a bright, open-plan home with a more contemporary feel, while improving functionality and increasing the value of the property.
The Project
A key part of the transformation was the addition of a rear extension with large bi-fold doors and an integrated Velux rooflight system.
Removal of all floor coverings
Installation of new bathroom suites
Rear living room extension
Garden out house
Full kitchen fit out
Alterations to first fix plumbing
Removal of the existing kitchen and bathroom suites
Garden landscaping
Full rewiring, including second fix sockets and light fittings
Redecoration of walls, ceilings, and windows
Re-plastering of internal walls
This extension completely changed the feel of the property, doubling the size of the living area and allowing natural light to flood into the kitchen and dining space. Making it perfect for modern, open-plan living and entertaining.
Rear Extension & Open-Plan Living
The rear extension was central to this renovation.
By extending into the garden and introducing large Schuco bi-fold doors, we created a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces.
The addition of a modular automated Velux rooflight system brought even more natural light into the property, transforming what was once a dark and uninspiring living space into a bright, airy home.
The finished extension now acts as the heart of the property—perfect for entertaining guests and everyday living.
Kitchen, Bathroom & Bespoke Interiors
We completed a full kitchen fit out, creating a sleek and modern space with carefully planned storage, premium finishes, and high-quality appliances.
The bathroom was also fully renovated to create a clean, contemporary look with elegant fixtures and a luxurious finish.
To maximise both style and functionality, our team designed and installed bespoke furniture throughout the property, helping to make the most of every available space.
The Result
This renovation completely transformed the property from a dark and dated mews house into a bright, spacious, and stylish home.
The improved layout, increased natural light, and high-spec finishes not only enhanced the way the property looked and felt, but also significantly increased its market value.
“Surpassed our expectations.”
Working with Robin and his team was an incredibly pleasurable experience. He made sure we were 100% happy with our design choices and the overall result is fantastic.
We were able to add a 25% uplift in value to our property at the end of this renovation.
